EDITORIAL GUIDELINES

Guidelines for Boomer eZine Articles - July, 2006  

The Boomer eZine is published as a business newsletter to assist Boomers in being online entrepreneurs.  

The mission of Boomer eZine is:

1. To assist Boomers in becoming Internet entrepreneurs.
2. To direct Boomers to stable, low risk business opportunities.
3. To suggest the best software and educational materials for each business opportunity.
4. To create a community of Boomers assisting Boomers in these endeavors.

Guidelines for article submission:

1. Articles submitted for Boomer eZine must be written with one or more of the mission statement points as a theme.
2. Article must be an original article that you wrote.
3. Article or byline must not contain any affiliate links.
4. Article must not be a press release, advertisement, sales letter, promotional copy, or blatant and excessive self-promotion or hype.
5. Article must not contain pornography/adult material, hate or violence-oriented, suggest racial intolerance, advocate against any individual, have insulting-obscene-degrading tone, or contain excess profanity.
6. Article must not contain any content that is a violation of any law, be considered defamatory, libelous, or infringes on the legal rights of others.
7. Article must not contain any hyperlinks, photos, graphics or html language (bolded text, color text, etc.).
8. Authors submitting articles to Boomer eZine will not be compensated in any way, for the writing or submitting of any article.
9. Boomer eZine reserves the right to publish your article(s) in our email publication, on our web site, on our blog, or syndicate the article through RSS feeds.
10. Boomer eZine has sole right to accept or reject any submitted article.
11. Article should be between 300 - 700 words. 500 words is best.  Articles submitted with more than 700 words can not be used.
12. Article must be ready for publication - all spelling and grammar is your responsibility.
13. To submit your article, send it within the body of your email. DO NOT send attachments. Any articles sent as an attachment will be deleted.
14. Include your byline - Maximum words in byline - 200.  Your byline may include your email address and web site link, but this may not be a link to an affiliate page.  You MUST include your real name and accurate contact information.
